Include essential links to sitemap
The Magento 2 HTML sitemap extension for Magento 2 lets you add a great variety of links to your sitemap to make it extremely informative. You can include the following link types:
Categories
Products
CMS-pages
This ensures that visitors can quickly find the exact products or pages they are looking for, enhancing both navigation and customer experience. Additionally, you can limit the number of products displayed, helping to keep the sitemap concise and user-friendly.
Add sitemap link to footer
By displaying your HTML sitemap link in the footer, customers can easily navigate and explore the site structure. This feature improves user accessibility, allowing them to quickly find the category or product they’re searching for without needing to dig through complex navigation menus.
Exclude specific pages

Search in Sitemap

Homepage Optimization
The Homepage Optimization feature of XML Sitemap extension removes links to CMS pages used for the homepage from the sitemap, which helps in faster indexing of the homepage content. This leads to better SEO and quicker visibility in search engines.
Include or exclude pages
You can decide whether to include or exclude any pages in the XML sitemap:
Product Types (6 types: Simple Product, Virtual Product, Bundle Product, Downloadable Product, Configurable Product, Grouped Product)
Product Pages
Category Pages
CMS-pages
This provides better control over which pages are indexed and avoid indexing of duplicate or irrelevant pages.
Add Additional Links
Store owners can manually add custom links to the XML sitemap file, giving them the flexibility to include external or additional pages that they want search engines to index.
Specify frequency
With these additional links, you may set frequency of updates so that the search engine can update these page’s information by always, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, never. Search engines will receive the latest data promptly to follow the timely updates.
Set priority
Moreover, you can set priority for this group of links. The smaller the number is, the higher priority the link is. The priority level determines which pages should be crawled first, boosting the SEO performance of critical content.
Email notification
Admins are well notified in case the XML Sitemap generation fails by activating this email notification in the backend. They can select the Sender Email, Receiver Email, and Email Template.
